Sr. Obispo James Johnston.

Annual Diocesan Hispanic Youth & Young Adult Conference: This is an annual, bilingual, diocesan event for young Hispanics between 14 and 18 years old, carried out every year. Through the event, attendees can strengthen their experience with Jesus Christ through talks and workshops on formation, liturgy, prayer and praise, the sacraments, fraternity, and dynamic activities. The goal of the conference is to enrich the faith of young Hispanics as well as their Catholic-cultural identity, and to enable them to explain their faith. It is also a pastoral opportunity to invite young people to participate in ongoing diocesan and parochial programs and groups. On this day of evangelization and sharing, the Eucharist is celebrated by the Most Reverend Bishop James Johnston.

"Shine Your Light" II Annual Diocesan Hispanic Youth Conference 2014
Salt and Light: Matthew 5: 13-16: 13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.14 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

"Champions of Faith" I Annual Diocesan Hispanic Youth Conference 2013
2 Timothy 4: 6-8: 6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
